Hi all,
I have recently moved my 3.5 month old blue tongues into a much larger enclosure and I have a UV Lighting question. Can anyone pass an opinion on the OZ Bright range of UV lights? and what wattage would be recommended. The used to have a fluro reptile glow but the new enclosure is fitted with a standard flood light so i want to change to the Mercury Vapour type lighting/heating. The enclosure is well ventilated at each end with mesh, perpex front, wood back ,sides and top, 150cm wide x 50cm depth x 70cm high. The basking distance is about 40cm.
I have seen 100w and 160w for the same price, $55.00 any suggestions on the suitability on this particular type of lighting/heating for blueys and what wattage is most suitable.
Personal experience or opinion is welcomed.
Cheers, Davo
