i can’t seem to grasp the idea that 2 normal looking snakes can produce a paradox randomly, but if you breed 2 paradox, you get a normal looking animal?! Why aren’t the babies keeping the black?! From my eyes, it should be the same as trying to line breed a certain feature, for example a stripe?? Or even just breeding 2 albinos would produce an albino, so why aren’t paradox x paradox producing? Are there other mutations like this?

Can someone explain please, it hurts my head

I’ll upload a few pages out of a book. Don’t know if you get your answers. I was told it was random phenomenon.
