This is my second week of volunteer work at Taronga zoo (in Herptofauna)
and thought i'd take a few pics of the reptiles for you guys.

I was also part of a keeper talk today, i'm pretty dissapointed that i didnt get a photo of me holding the olive python, but hey i got to hold it so who cares!

Oh yeah, and im loving the veiled chameleon

Hey Olive. i filled out the form (printed from the web site)
sent it to the zoo, got an email back asking me to attend the reqriutment
had an interview, filled out more forms and then got a call back telling me when i start.
And now im a volley and loving it.

Yeah the veild chameleon has spectacular colours, he's not really friendly though, he's already tried to bite me

i work with Geoff, Mark and Dean... that was today anyways

I did volunteer work there over 10 years ago. I just wondered if the same keepers would be there.

The giant cave gecko's were cool, the scream when you pick them up and then try and bite you

Unreal pics Gecko, would never have thought they would've had a Komodo Dragon, you just dont see many in captivity.

Ducky: yeah i know you dont see many in captivity but this komodo has been there for years

Itbites: yeah the basilisks are awesome lizards, its a shame i didnt get a better picture, i was in a slight rush lol i took these on my lunch break
