Hi all,
Recently i made this enclosure for two patternless pink tongue skinks. Here is how i made it.
I started with carving out the background. I used Insulation Foam and a kitchen knife to carve it
I wanted to add some ledges so i made them and glued them to the background with silicone
After letting the silicone cure, i painted the background with tile pointing, i did about 2 coats.
Then i added a pvc pipe for drainage as these little guys are rainforest species.
then i did all your basic bioactive stuff, drainage layer etc.
I planted the tank with Pothos, a Fern, Pepperomia, Ficus varigeta, syngonium, Phylodendren and some other plant from Bunnings.
These little guys seem to be loving there new home! They have been using the background and love hiding in the philodendron up the back.
