Pre-Spring shedding.

Something I've found interesting today that I thought I'd share. Despite being kept in tubs, inside and all year around, both my juvenile Lowland Copperheads, who have been brumating since May (self-imposed), have just shed in anticipation of Spring! How do they know?? .

Time to wade the ice-cold waters of Bushland Reserve again and hunt some Gambusia, me thinks!

don't know if its just by chance but both of my pythons (one olive one woma) have gone into shed at the same time.
