I've got a bunch of fresh mulberry leafs , about a A4 box full to feed my silkworms.
I've kept mulberry leafs OK in the crisper in an open plastic bag OK for a week, but I'm not sure if they last much longer in the fridge crisper so am looking at blanching them prior in boiling water prior to sealing in freezer bags and freezing in 1 day lots.

Has anyone here tried the method described ?
Process :
* Boiling water
* blanch each leaf for 90 seconds
* drain and cool (do you need to cool in cold water ?)
* seal in plastic bag and place in freezer.
