From what i know it's been going for a couple of years. I know that they have meetings and outings and such, but apart from that i don't know anymore.

I was a former vice president when it started about 10 or so years ago, I am not a member anymore, not really into clubs...polictics etc etc..but not a bad club all the same

its based in Brisbane , run by Ted and Alma Searle PH. (07) 2000 266
they hold meeting bye monthly at the Queensland Museum but ring them to find out the next date.

there is also one called herpetological society of queensland that means on the first sunday of each month at Bunya in Brisbane. There are a few knowledgable people there. this is their website http://www.geocities.com/herp_society_qld_inc/

I think the QLD R&A club meet the first Wednesday of every month in a room near the dinosaur gardens. I went once and nearly joined up but didnt cause I dont like driving by myself into the city (Mick wont come with me). I now go to one held at capalaba indigiscapes which is about 5 mins from me.
