Rankins dragon hiding in same spot

Hi all,

this may seem like a silly question but my male rankins dragon sits in the same place everyday and hardly moves. He's done this since I got him. His basking spot is 34 and he eats like a champ. He sleeps all day and maybe only goes to the loo once a week.
