rats in sun 4 python

hi all , does thawing the frozen rat out in the sun give any extra uva/uvb to the python ?
any help much appreciated thank you

nah, UV is absorbed thru the skin.
lizards dont get UV thru veges that are grown in teh sun.
its best to defrost the rats as quickly as possible, like in warm water, to avoid them going off.

Most probably not.

However the extra time it would take would certainly hep the bacteria thrive.
