Hi All,
Over the past couple of weeks you may have noticed a number of threads in regards to Reptiles Australasia Magazine "disappearing" off the site. Our Moderation team removes threads and post for a variety of reasons, but in this case it was due to an ongoing conflict between our long-time sponsors (Scales & Tails Australia Magazine) and the owners of the new magazine. We opted for a "sledge-hammer" approach until the situation was resolved.
It is becoming apparent that this approach is not feasible in the long term and we have decided to change our policy on the matter. We will continue to moderate any comments that attempt to discredit either magazine in any way. We will also be moderating any posts surrounding the conflict in general. We will however allow general discussion (regarding content, quality, etc) of the new magazine.
