Safe paint for Viv?

Hey all...

Just planning out my finances for my DIY project...
Can anyone suggest a particular brand or type of paint that is safe? I am happy to do a clear coat if needed as I would rather spray paint.
I understand it should be acrylic and non-toxic. Anything else to keep in mind?
Also, is it safe to use sealant on the edge of exposed melamine (the chipwood) to create a protective coat?

I dont think it really matters anymore, most paints are non-toxic. If you go to your local hardware store and just ask for something non-toxic.. Not sure about spray paints, but im pretty sure anything will be fine as long as you let it dry and air out so you dont smell fumes anymore.

Any Acrylic paints and sealants are fine. And they don't chip or peal overtime.

I have spray painted furniture before... I just wanted to make sure my little guy will be safe .
