the poly pipe is to deliver water below the substrate so it creats a water gradient.
 
yeah they are sweet setups... im getting ideas now... with the sarena is that the one you got the other day? how come it doesnt have a burrow? and is that substrait deep enough for it?

im VERY tempted to buy one with the misses money (then pay her back of course ;) ) but failing that tomorrow is my payday :D im either after the sarina or the "blue leg" havent made up my mind about it yet...
 
sometimes it can take a while for the t to start a burrow, her substrate is plenty deep enough. Both sarina and pq113 are awsome t's but the "blue leg" doesnt actually have blue legs, just blue setae on the femurs.
