hey guys just thought i would start a thread for the tackle rats out there to show off there gear, so come on lets see it
 
I have an awesome rod with hollowpoint hooks and.. oh hang on.. wrong image. :D

I got a telescopic Cobra rod with a Silstar GBX 60 reel.
 
ok i cant be bothered getting it all out and taking pics but will try list most of it

stella 1000 with nitro power bream rod
stella 2500 with saltist xtreme 2-8lb rod
stella 4000 with saltwater spin 5-10kg tcurve
stella 4000 with catalina 90-180gm jig rod
symtre 4000 with starlo stick tournament pro 4-8kg

I have a couple of stella's myself. They are a great reel.

First seen them used on ifish and thought i would give them a go. Have not looked back.
 
I use hand lines.
6 - 60lb on multicoloured handreels............
love it mungus, red, blue and yellow i presume? i have a few myself...lol

I'm a Shimano man mainly but have Daiwa, Penn and heap more nice reels. Rods, Ugly sticks , custom game sticks and even the old ET Rod, which I love the action of a whiting and bream...

yeah mate i wasnt to keen on the vapour as it was very stiff in the butt. but thanks mate i do alot of light tackle fishing hence the 4000 on a catalina which i use for jigging damn rod is a noodle
 
some very nice gear some of you have atm im just geting back into fishing need new rods ect my dads importing a heap of gator blanks so pinching few of those of him after he puts the runers ect on them aparently gator is the compitition for the ugly stick who me n dad are fans of we have few nice shimano baitcasters and 2 deep sea shamano reels but cant tell you model numbers ect as its been along time since iv looked at them my gf has an old 14ft fiberglass coated wood boat were going to rebuild next yr so hopefully we can have some good times with that lil baby
 
Good to see people using quality gears.

Here's a couple of my outfits. I'll save the game and fly gears for later.

Moses, I use the saltist for high speed spinning for mackerel and LT tuna and find it to be a good reel for the price, I've only caught fish up to around 16kg on it so I'm yet to really test it out but I think it would handle larger fish quite well.
