Early this morning my childreni started to hatch :) and I'm still up now at 1am waiting for them to emerge. I have one out and 5 poking thier heads out and 10 still incubating. You gotta love it when they hatch :) Luckily i have no work or school tomorrow.

Just a qustion im interested as to how long after they use there egg tooth to slit the egg do everyone elses emerge?

It is not unusual for them to wait a day in the egg with their heads poking out. This year ours took 5 days before the last was fully hatched.

Yeah Im only asking because in previous years once they poked thier head out it only was a matter of 5 - 8 hours before the were fully out.

Are you keeping them in incubator during this time they are in the process of hatching ?
