Hi all, one of beardies, "Loki" is shedding at the moment and for some reason he stinks.
I clean out their enclosures everyday, fresh newspaper, wipe it out with bleach and then i rinse it.
So it's not from his enclosure. He gets fresh water daily, which i'm changing at the moment 3-4 times a day because of him shedding, he's constantly in the water.
So why would my dragon smell? Can i wash him in anything other than water?
Thanks

Hi Koubee,

Mine smells a bit when shedding so it might not just be yours,

And also, mine never goes in his water, I have something for him to get all the way in but not drown of course and he never goes in it, He was brought up froma baby in a petshop till he was 5 years old and never had a water thing like that, perhaps that's the reason??
Are all yours the same with water????

most of them except Sunshine, she'll have a little dip in the water but she isn't into it like the others. Loki is costantly swimming, i think he plays in the water, either way he loves water.
Sometimes Loki will soak in the water for up to an hour.
