spotted pythons

hi all,
i was just wondering (and this may be a stupid question, sorry) but can i male spotted python mate with 2 females. in not ready 2 mate this year but i already have a female and i just got a male yesterday. and i was thinking of getting a yearling or older female now so i will have 2 females.

so would it work or not?
