A couple of quick questions regarding the difference in the sexes of pythons.

- Is there a tendency for one sex to grow larger than the other? I know it is generally a food thing, but what about if they are feed the same diet?

- Also, if one sex does generally grow larger than another, does it occur only in certain species or is it a general rule of thumb?

Thanks

As far as I know, the females generally get larger than the males.

I can't answer the question - but i was wondering,do different sexes have different temperments? (*sp) like, are females friendler than males, i know that in dogs - males can be more aggressive. just curious if this counts for snakes :)
