Thoughts on Reptiles being sold in pet shops?

Hey guys, just thought I'd get your opinions on the new law or whatever. Reptiles are going to be sold in pet shops in NSW. I personally don't think it's a good idea. For reasons such as people buying one and not having a clue about reptile husbandry. Plus pet shops already have poor knowledge of reptiles. So yeah just though I'd get your views on the subject.
