Timber Outdoor Enclosures?

I'm thinking of building an outdoor enclosure for a Diamond and just hoping to get some tips or photos from people who have done it. My plan would likely be to build a simple frame from 4x2 or something and attach mouse mesh to it. Does this plan seem sound? Would it be a good option to also put shade-cloth over one half to offer a cooler area?
Any help would be much appreciated

Chri5 has an outdoor Lacie enclosure made from treated pine frames with gal panels at 1/4 the outlay of a gal steel framed enclosure. Looks very professional! Perhaps PM him, Sax?
