My two turtles dont seem to be shedding their scutes properly. They were put outside a few months ago and over xmas the sun was scarce here, over a 2 week period they started to look unwell (skin went pale), they were still active and always eat well.
I moved them back inside and since then they have their color back but dont seem to shed properly. The water temp fluctuates between 25 and 30, when its over 28 i use freezer blocks to cool water. They have U.V. and a basking lamp, baskikng spot usually 32.
To try help I take them out of the water and put them outside to dryout, it seems to help a little. Today i noticed the skin on one of them is dry and looks like it's peeling, you can see it in the pic..
They have a vet visit but what else can i do for them in the mean time
