I always try to stop and move them off the road.
Todays one had me puzzled.
Fairly large ELN. It had left a small dam on the side of the road (Binnaway - Coolah rd) and the mud hadnt fully dried on it, but was heading uphill, where there was no other dams visible.
I took it across the road in direction of travel and put it in the grass over the fence.
Sorry, im not a turtle keeper so dont know, are they like sea turtles and head back to their hatching places? Thinking it could have washed down from somewhere higher as a hatchie.
