unexpected broad headed

this guy was in a rock crevice so i couldnt get any closer with the poor zoom of my brothers camera (or my stick)... was most unexpected as my gps recorded the altitude as 699 metres, 1 pm in the afternoon and similar latitude to canberra... so in my experience it was too high up, diurnal and too far south.
...i can pm gps cordinates to any serious minded researcher...

dr. jonothan webb of sydney uni, probably the person most likely to know, has confirmed from my gps coordinates that it is the most southerly sighting of this species... i wish i had of taken the missus' slr camera on the walk now...
