Thus the word URGENT! - rather be a bit pushy & have a live beardie.
Is there another vet u can try? Greg, u know anyone else in the area?

PS - natural sunlight? Is she in a glass cage, with natural sunlight? Is she cooking?????

the glass acts like a magnifying glass with the sun going thru it..............

So how can u say u got the temp up to 38C when it's nighttime???

hi everyone if u can remeber awhile ago i posted a thread about my bearded dragon being pregnant well im now doubting it alot since then her helth has realy deterated show refuses to eat anything never comes out from under her rock and has lost a hell of alot of weight. the little male is fine he eats well and eveything but she just seems to be getting worse. any advice. and dont tell me to seperate them i already did that and nothing happens pretty much the only thing she does is dig under her rock.

any help would be great

If she was in with your male recently & now she is constantly trying to dig under her rock then it's highly likely that she's gravid & looking for somewhere to lay her eggs. I'd set a laybox up & offer it if you can't see a vet for a couple of days. If you do a search you should find lot's of threads on how to set a one up & just make sure that she has lot's of peace & quiet.

Actually I don't, I've only ever taken my beardies there or to a guy at Canterbury Vet clinic, but he (the reptile specialist) only works Monday and Tues arvo's I think.
I would try Warranwood again and express the URGENT part!

Yeah it's possible she could be gravid, but he did say she'd be losing heaps of weight, so probably not. Surely one would be able to tell she was full of eggs?? Having said that, setting up a laybox certainly couldn't hurt, and its quite easy to do.

if i put crickets in there she chases them around if i get her out would it be because shes not getting many insects

sorry i double type things wat i mean is that would she be like the\is latly because of not many insects

If she were healthy, she'd be eating well.
As a matter of interest, how much do u feed your beardies, or think is a good amount to feed them as far as live insects go? - base this on the male who's healthy atm.

On a side note, do you realise that if shes in a glass tank, any uv from the 'natural sunlight' is most likely being filtered from the glass in your house windows and again by the glass of your tank?

Beardie

For the love of reptiles. TAKE IT TO THE VET, dont worry about anything else just go to the vet please..... If its urgent (which it is) they will put you in straight away. I know this for a fact.
