Police investigating the death of Pakistan cricket coach Bob Woolmer have told his widow he may have been drugged with snake venom................

Surely it would just have been easier to strangle him in the first place, then it would be to hold him down, inject venom into the bloodstream and wait for him to become quiet before strangling ?

Why bother with the extra time all this took, it just means greater risk of being caught.

It is a pretty thin article fact wise. I call bunk (meaning slow news day in this case ).

If someone dies of a taipan bite does the venom still break down after death? You'd think once you have organ failure there is not too much left to break down remaining venom.........

Im definately no expert but, i would have thought it would have just kept doing what it does and neutralised regardless of the victim being alive or dead. But yeah it sure does seem a bit thin on facts.

If you were goin to kill someone using venom would actually work very well, it would work far better than the methods used by KGB in some of their assinations. Dont tell the authorites though they would probably try and ban ppl from keeping snakes.
