Just a matter of interest

As my dragons have all laided there eggs mid to late afternoon
From being lain the nesting box provided to directly under the hot spot under the paper

Wat bout other reptiles pythons , geckos , turtles etc ?

It's my understanding that pythons usually lay in the early morning. Most will lay in the nest box if they feel it is suitable, but they will also lay in their water bowl and while perched on branches <according to Maxwell's Chondro book.

Mine have laid in the nest box and also directly on the emclosure floor.

I've had bluetongues and dragons lay/birth when in an outdoor pit, I found they often lay on overcast, humid days which are often slightly cool days as well. As for the time of the day no help sorry.
