Lorikeets are great birds, beautiful, intelligent and hilarious. Their diet is easy to maintain, there are plenty of wet and dry mixes available that are made especially for lorikeets. You must keep in mind that since they are nectar eaters, they are pretty messy (liquid poo)!

But if cleaning and upkeep are no worries, and you have time to give them the attention they need, they are very rewarding pets.
