G'day all,
spent 2 days at Burrum Point Caping area (near Woodgate QLD) with the family.
Got some good Lacey pics and a Gouldii (I think) - anyone who wants to interact with wild Goannas should visit, they walk around the camp sites and are hard to scare away (especially if your wife is cooking BACON for lunch). When you come back from the beach there are tracks all through your site even under chairs, etc. A couple of them are big buggers too.
Had a look for Geckoes and snakes too but no luck, but for you Monitor freaks its a must do - oh ya need a 4x to get in and a camping permit from EPA QLD - ENJOY.
