Wood chippings??

Hello everyone.
I just have a quick and easy question.
I am just wondering if it is safe to use wood chippings for beardie bedding and water dragons.

i wouldn't they can be toxic,plus beardie could swallow some and that could b nasty!!!

I assume yes if it is a reptile brand. I have heard of mant people using wood chips for there beardie substrate!

Its not a reptile brand. All i no is. That it is chippings left from making ladders.

what timbers are you making ladders from ?
have they been stained, painted, etc..

I dont make them. The father inlaw does. They havent been treated that we know of

I decided to use it. Its working great so far. I dont feed my beardies in their enclosure to make sure they dont swollow any.
Found out that its 100% untreated and its tasmainian oak.
