anybody got about 100 roaches or woodies ready to breed in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne
that i could pick up?
just wondering because i was thinking of starting a colony for my beardie. even though i hate them lol

iv already got a two foot tank and some vaseline, is that ok?

I just keep mine in plastic tubs but there is a Melb seller that I use and they are great.

what kind of substrate do you need for cockroaches??

M, i dont use any =) And for cleaning you can place a bit of carrot which will attract them in the corner and you can move their hides and sweep their poop at the bottom.

Oh and make sure you have plenty of egg carton hides

Haha, no worries.I reckon you will, dont worry, the adult ones are a little creepy sometimes because they can fly :lol:

I started saving the ones you get in small tubs of crickets/roaches. And toilet rolls.
Then as the months went on I just salvaged the cartons as we went through them.
Local cafe/sandwidge shops chould get eggs by the box-load. The eggs sit in rows of about 36 or so on a large square carton underlay. Just ask if they have any spare.

haha don't worry about them flying at you. I'm yet to have one jump at me.

i dont know what it is about them but they reallyyy creep me out lol
scary stuff haha..
