I've used both sawdust and dry cat/dog food, both work well. The dry pet food doubles as a food so I just use that now.

I'm sure unprocessed wheat bran would be fine also, we use that in the cricket tanks.

I use old toilet roles only. They need nothing on the floor itself.

Check out the care sheet on "Speckled Feeder Roaches" at http://herpshop.com.au where you will find basically everything you need to know about keeping them.

wat do woodie eggs look like cause my dog food has alot of like white moss stuff on it so i dont know if thats eggs or something else

thats mould, means it 2 wet, you need it dry, woodies dont lay eggs

Nothing on the floor just stack some egg cartons and give them plenty of ventilation.

i have nothing or the floor except lots of egg cartons.

the woodies do have eggs but they are kept inside the mum, sometimes you might see them sticking out from her. they are clumped together in a log shape.
the mum will drop them and soon after they will hatch.
