worming rats, snakes, or both?

When breeding your own rats, is it easier to worm your rats or snakes? And which would work more effectively? Also what is your opinion on best brand of worming treatments? I have some called worm-rid from reptile science, has anybody used this particular brand before? Any help would b muchly appreciated.

im pretty sure u freeze ur rats or mice for at least a month to kill anythin ur rat or mice may have. preventing it beeing passed to ur snake..
