how ya goin iv got 2 new carpets supposably 5years old the measure approx 1.2m and weight about 600grams does this sound right?? could i introduce for breeding or are they to small?? thanks for youre help

Are they coastal carpets or maybe spotteds or childrens or........ ?

If they are carpets and 5 yo they are way under sized and have been underfed!
Dependant upon what member of the carpet family they are they should be
between 2 to 3m in lenght and weigh upwards of 3.5+kg!
They would not be a good choice for breeding IMO and would doubt they would in thier
discribed condition.

Chuck up some photos of them and we'll be able to help identify exactly what kind of snakes they are and what condition they're in.
