I remember... oh do I ever... The days that Beastie Boys started out...

Great, original and some serious tunes that will stand the test of time... Sad to see a legend go.

Check your head is still one of my all time favorite albums. \m/

B Boys have done so much for the music industry.

I can't post it - but you can look it up - Adam Yauch's - Fight for your right (revisited) full length - starring Danny McBride, Elijah Wood and Seth Rogen as well as Will Ferrell, Ted Danson, Steve Buscemi, Jack Black, Alicia Silverstone, Kirsten Dunst and so many more! Very funny video as well - and unfortunately... the last one!

Quote a comment on the Intergalactic YouTube video:
"
MCA spit fire whenever the dj made the beat drop
Now he's flying the in the stars like Mr. Spock
One of the freshest dudes that ever lived
He'll live on forever if you tell your kids
Writer, director and philanthropist
MCA you will always be missed"

Beastie boys were the first live gig I ever saw, in Auckland with Helmet in 1994.
They are the soundtrack to my youth, I cannot number how many Beasties shirts I've had. I still have a old grand royal shirt from around the time I saw them.
He will be sadly missed.

R.I.P. MC A,

Old grand royal is my go to album for all occassions, love it, now he"ll be rippen it up with all the other legands.

At least the only pain he has, is what he left behind, now to fight for your right
