Hey I recently got a male thick tailed gecko that is 1 year old. I've had him for about 4 days and every time I put in crickets (around 4) he eats one and then becomes not interested in the others. I'm starting to get worried as he is my first reptile and I'm not sure if this is normal.

if hes eating its all good,...theyre only small geckos and a daily cricket would be a good meal! (if ur using big crickets)

i feed mine every second day, less food gets left that way.

Hes eating around 1 every 2 days even though there are four medium crickets. Should i change my feeding pattern?

If it's eating it should be fine , I find milii eat a little less than other geckos too.

Do you leave the extra crickets in the tub or take them out ?

I put in 4 leave them for around a day and whatever he doesn't eat over the second night i take them out.
