Well if the body weight/condition is fine dont worry about force feeding. It should eat when it is ready.
 
chook just keep an eye on him, try him again when the weather warms right up, some snakes still are not feeding at this time of the year. I have one male here that is still refusing a feed but he is in great condition, healthy and mating his little heart out.:lol:

I never use heat cords for older snakes, i only use them for hatchling tubs to sit on. lights IMO are the best heat source and way to keep a regular temp.
 
Ok great, well ill just keep an eye on him, making sure everything is still staying healthy and active, hopefully he eats shortly.

Hey Notechistiger,
Has only recently gone to that tank, moved into it about 8mths ago. its about 2 metres long by metre half high, like a big bar.
Oh and originally lived in canberra before coming up here, 8mths ago
