Some people just weren't meant to be parents. lol. Still, I tell people not to wait until they're in their late teens to get fit. It's harder and you'll regret all the time you spent wasted in front of the TV.
 
yea that i why through yep ill go to the gym because the only time i watch tv is at night when it dark and i cant ride and when the computer inst working

so i can go to the gym at night to do something instead of tv and computer
 
Get in there and sweat......pump it.....push the envelope.........push it til you puke.......and when you do....push it for 5mins more.Then shake it off,do your cool down and hit the showers.you will feel like a new man..(and yeh i know youre 14 but trust me).you will walk a bit straighter,talk a bit clearer and feel renewed every time.realese all your stress,anger,whatever into your workouts,leave it all in your sweat on the floor.

I do.All night gyms are the best,can't sleep.....pump it for a bit.
 
I work in a gym mate, and its not cheap, if ur old man is paying for it by all means go for it specially when ull get a snakey out of it, ur laughin. Go in there jump on a bike for half hour then hit the light free weights and ull get urself in better shape for when u hit the bowl at the skatepark, ur gettin the deal of a lifetime, wish i had that. While ur at it do a boxing class, iunno bout u but i see alot of the skater kids get picked on, learn to defend yourself while your there and ur killin 3 birds with 1 stone!
 
Boxing is a complete workout just in itself,hubby used to do a bit of it,but won't teach me anything cos he might hurt me......hahahahahahahaha.....he's afraid i'll hurt him...........hahahahahahhahhahahaha.seriously tho audio anthrax what would be the basic stuff i would need to set up my own proper little gym in my shed?i don't wanna look like a female chinese swimmer...hahahaha.stuff i can use as much as i want to?
 
Ok grog that's where your wrong, not all fat people hate the world. I for one don't and I'm very overweight due to medication side effects. I have no reason to hate the world.
People with a weight problem lack self esteem and somotivation isn't high on their list of priorties got my own cousin told me I was getting fatter everytime she saw me but I build a bridge and move on

Sorry if i offended you. Im only going off my previous personal experiences. I hope your cousin stops with that... it is truly not fair.
 
Sook - its not as hard as people think! It can be pricey but all u really need is a swiss ball (those big blowup balls) a set of dumbells (the little 1 handed ones) from 1kg up to 6-7kg and a barbell set (the long 2 handed bars) up to 100kg and a bench/seat, thats a basic gym setup capable of doing a whole body workout. Later on u cant get machines or heavier weights an more specialised stuff if u want but it isnt needed if ur just lookin to shape, tone and trim. If u need help or got questions feel free to ask
