Thanks peeps! Some of the small ones are kept in large tubs but i also have a colony in a 5 foot high enclosure.

my mum has a small snake living under her hot water system,it was about 35cm long dark green with a white ring around its eyes,ive tried looking but cant find anything that looks the same,any ideas what it was???

sounds like a yellow faced whip snake, quite harmless, can you get a picture of it?
