yes i have kids, they are adults now, also there is NO such thing as breaking the law a little bit and you can NOT pick and chose what laws you want to follow and what ones you want to ignore
the fact is it appears this mans landlord stipulated NO pets and mentioned it referred to both fish and reptiles the tenant was already on notice then, now if that was written that way in the lease then this person lied when he signed the lease and is now complaining because hes been found out
there are some places now that do refuse to rent to people with children, heck there is even a housing estate out there which is child free
owners of houses do have the right to refuse to rent to whoever they like, in certain circumstances
perhaps this owner has been caught up by previous tenants trying to slip other kinds of 'pets' past the no pets clause in the lease and has been stung by it in the past? therefore he now makes it a lot clearer
you can NOT sign a lease knowing your actions are illegal then complain when the owner catches you out and wants to terminate the lease, if you signed it knowing you would be breaking it then you have NO recourse to complain
and the fact so many go around lying to their landlords is a disgrace and im sure if they owned a rental unit that would NOT be impressed, its disrespectful and disgusting and you all should be ashamed of yourselves but ive got this feeling you arent and honestly dont give a damn so long as you get your own way and to hell with the owner of the property
