Any takers?
This fella - Darwin Carpet seems healthy. I noticed that there's a patch of strange scales on his head about a week ago. no chance of a burn. Ventral scales all ok. Don't think it's an injury. Looks worse on the photo than it really is. No pus / fluid. He last shed about 3 weeks ago.

Doesn't look terrible, but any chance of a clearer picture?

Just visited the local reptile guru and showed him the same photos. He told me to relax. He reckons it's just damage from shedding & recommends keeping an eye in it.
I'm super relieved.

great news mate

my young darwin has the exact same problem. did he say it would clear next slough?

He said that he'd had pythons with similair looking skin, which had completely cleared after 1 - 2 sheds. Good luck just dragons.

Cheers man. Hope all goes well then

it does clear, have experienced the same thing a few times on my burms and corn snakes, it usually goes away after the next shed
