Snakes and heavy items

I have large ceramic tiles in the basking spot for my bhp cages which are prob an inch or so thick and about 25cms x 25cms. My silly Bhp being a Bhp thought it would be a good idea to sit under instead of on it. I've altered it now so he can't get under it. Made me cringe when I saw him under it but he was moving easily and showed no signs of discomfort. My question being do any other Bhp/woma or other snake owners for that matter find their one doesn't mind getting squishy under something heavy?

Agreed - My coastal has a hide that's way, way to small for it. It's got other options but no matter where I move that hide it goes back to it time and time again! haha.

Haha my hatchie does that too. She has two hides but always chooses the one she has had since she was very young. She coils in as tight as she canad still props it up off the ground and spills out of the bottom lol
