IMIT thermos

Just wondering if anyone else has trouble getting steady temps using the IMIT thermostat? I just brought a new enclosure which had this installed but it seems to vary the temps a lot! Is it just me or are they hard to deal with ? Might just use another microclimate and by pass the IMIT ...

Ideally yeah use a Microclimate or Habistat, u get what u pay for. I have enclosures with IMIT's or similar built in and whilst approx my clan don't seem to be complaining too much.
