Hi there, i was just wanting a few opinions on whether you think my coastal is a pure or a cross thank you.


If you say cross please tell me what you think he is crossed with. :)

You can never absolutely rule out other blood in there these days, but it looks like a standard Coastal Carpet to me.

I agree with Jamie. There's nothing to suggest anything other than Morelia spilota mcdowelli.
It's always a good idea to see photos of the parents, especially if you're ever in doubt but there's almost no way of knowing if a Morelia spilota (or any specimen really) is 100% pure these days when buying. There's always a certain amount of trust involved. The better you know the seller the better and it's best to buy from someone with a good reputation.
 
Sorry, but why would you think this is a possible cross according to the heading? What were you told when you bought the snake? Why the doubts?
