Just wondering if caging around the heat source is necessary inside Woma enclosures of 45cm height? being a terrestrial species & all.

I have noticed that Neil Sonnemann does not use safety cages around his heat globes for BHP & Woma species, is this a practise many share?

Bhp's i have had in the past would regularly coil around the cage of the lamps. The little female i have now ( 80 cm ) coils around the cage ( tank is 4x2x2 )several times a day. Wouldn't risk it personally.
