i know they are wild but there wouldnt be so many cats if there were more responsible owners.

Yep quite a few in the NT and there are even more feral donkeys than camels up there and even more buffalo .What the... We have camels too?:?
Maybe because thats what they eat(chickens being replace by tasty native species)...describing the taste as a mixture of goanna, rabbit and chicken.
