Hey guys really needing abit of info on incubating brown tree snake eggs a good friend just got a clutch of eggs from his banded brown trees what is the best temp to incubate the eggs at? I had a feeling it was lower than python eggs but wasn't sure.

Any info is really appreciated

Cheers sam

Hey Sam,

Whilst people have hatched them @ 30-31c (normal inc. temp), 26-27c seems to be the best inc. temp for tree snakes and they take between 90 and 100 days to hatch.

I've had almost 100% success at 31.5 degrees.

I had one egg which didn't hatch, possibly because it wasn't viable to begin with. I can't remember exactly how many eggs I did hatch, but it was all the rest of them. People often say they're difficult to incubate, maybe I was just lucky. I've recently bought some more and hope to breed them again in the not too distant future, I'll see how I go this time around :)
