Went for a quick walk in the back garden last night, saw a few critters, took a few pics and thought I'd share some
Can anyone give me a ID on the caterpillar?

Sydney, the caterpillar was about 12 - 15cm long

Thats huge, i cant see anything like it at present but will keep looking, what sort of tree was it on, it sort of looks like a Golden spray or sheoke.Actually looks Grevillia now i look a bit closer.. Sorry its a Banksia.

It's a Jacky Dragon, Amphibolurus muricatus.

Thanks to you and google, I have found it, Coquesa triangularis, funny enough called the Banksia Hawke Moth

I think it's just one of those normal smaller black ones, though was too buisy trying to get a clear shot as the wind was blowing them all over the place..
