here's the recipe:

500 grams lean beef mince (I use "Heart Smart")

1 can each peaches, pears, apricots in natural juice - drained - keep juice aside

1 punnet strawberries (ripe, even a bit over-ripe)

1 egg

generous sprinkle reptile calcium/vitamin powder ("Reptical" or similar)

Mush up fruit in food processor

Mix in large bowl with the mince, egg and powder

Place in small plastic containers and freeze - to be used as required.

I use fresh fruit when in season but try to remove as much skin as possible. I have found the above fruits to be the most readily accepted by my blueys. You could probably try other fruit (e.g. 1/2 paw paw) but I avoid banana and apple as I find these two don't freeze too well.

Once the mix is in containers, add a little of the left-over juice to get a good consistency - i.e. not too gluggy or watery.
