I'm looking out for anyone in Sweden to help me out or even go herping for the C.austriaca or any species actually. Plus help with the rules for herpetology here.

I've had a few looks and the bylaws seem pretty relaxed, but.... where to go to get snakes isn't as easy. Would also prefer to just view them (the natives) in the wild. There's three decent species here which I won't have seen anywhere else. And I am particularly interested in the C.austriaca as I believe there's some local ones here (maybe hard to find). But with herp season coming up, I'd love to know what you know about Sweden and herping!

There is a great app for iPhone by Anders Zimny on Swedish jeeps- I'd start there

I don't have an iPhone :( Not that that is a bad thing of course.

I did find a moor frog last night. So, it is looking promising for some herping at least.
