jujst wondering why they are so rare in captivity, i have heard they are hard to look after but has anyone sucessfully kept and bred them yet?
 
I'm sure if someone pays the land owners for collection rights, they would allow

Comeone someone must be rich enough.
 
The Territory wildlife park is working with traditional owners and will be collecting some in the future.
They are very hard to find in the wild and generally the Kakadu rangers only come across one once a year.
They are not only found on aboriginal land.

Didn't Graeme Gow's Reptile Park actually have one in the 80's and early 90's.
