Here's Spike using his hide incorrectly.
For those who haven't seen these hides before, it's a terracotta 'Wet Shelter'. In summer I put this hide on the cool side and fill the top part with water to create a cool humid cave in the lower part. As the weather gets cooler I ditch the water and move the hide to the warm end of the tank as the terracotta warms up nicely.
Spike has a penchant for the penthouse

And yes his enclosure looks thin but it's a 2ft long run.

oh how cute, geckos are awsome. how do you stop mould tho as we used a teracotta water dish and mould grew on it

Not sure about the mould, I've never had that problem with these hides.
